I need help – I don’t know what is going on [closed]
There is a situation and I don't know what to do.
I work for a small business owner. I built her site for her, and previously there was a guy supposedly handling her SEO, but I don't think he did anything, but he took a lot of funds from her. She paid him via PayPal, but in the payment history, there are different PayPal accounts that were used for the SEO company.
She had a Godaddy set up, for her domains, and the language randomly changed while using it and trying to transport the site over.
I have been managing her admin account, and I saw that the IP associated under one of her accounts had changed her password, I was the first to be kicked out, then she was.
I was able to ping the website address. It came back to Cloudflare. I've had 3 different pings come back to that Cloudflare. From this company.
I started to respond then I felt uncomfortable and something told me to ping it, and when I did, it also came back to Cloudflare and the IPs look similar and whatnot. I am not a massive tech person or anything, but any thoughts on this?
