What client side software is needed to virtualize an application using a server based approach? [closed]

What client side software other than the OS (Windows, Linux, MacOS, Android, iOS) is needed in order to virtualize applications such as Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel using a server based approach? I understand that the installation of virtualized apps are done on the server side but what software is needed on the client side in order to allow the virtualization of applications as mentioned above to execute on the client side ? Please use Windows 10/11 as the client OS for this question.
