Can’t access a website [closed]
I was trying to install malwarebytes on my computer through firefox but when clicking the malwarebytes page, it always came to the conclusion of not working or no internet. I then tried it with a couple of other browsers like Chrome but it still showed the same result.
Later I tried restarting my router hoping that would fix but it still did not work.
Then I decided to check if it would show the same results if I changed my wifi network, but when I did that the site reloaded concluding that it something wrong with my wifi network. Then as a last-ditch effort I decided to change my DNS to Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 (previously it was toggled to automatic DNS) and to my surprise it worked.
Now I am wondering if my network or systems on it got infected with something like DNS poisoning or is my IP blacklisted or is there a virus or malware on my system and/or the network?
