"VeraCrypt::File::Open:287" ("Is a directory") message when creaing a container

I was creating an encrypted VeraCrypt file container on my Mac. The last step is to randomly move the mouse within the VeraCrypt window. Then, after I click Format, the following window appears:

      Is a directory:
/Users/john_doe/veracrypted

 VeraCrypt::File::Open:287

        [OK button]    

If I click OK and then click Format, the

The VeraCrypt volume has been successfully created.

message appears.

My question is why does the first message appears? Is it a bug or what?

VeraCrypt 1.26.7, macFUSE 4.6.0, macOS 14.2.1
