Interacting with Session 0 command prompts within RDP sessions [closed]
Description:
I am currently facing a challenge when attempting to interact with command prompts spawned by processes running in Session 0 while connected via Remote Desktop (RDP). I need assistance in understanding how to make these command prompts visible and interactive within my RDP session. On a local session it works fine.
Issue Details:
When executing certain processes that run in Session 0, the associated command prompts remain hidden or non-interactive when connected via RDP. I would like to learn the recommended approaches or techniques to make these prompts visible and interactive within my active RDP session.
Goals:
- Understand the reasons behind the invisibility/non-interactivity of command prompts from Session 0 processes in RDP Session 2.
- Learn best practices or techniques to make these command prompts visible and interactive within the RDP Session 2 environment.
Additional Information:
- Operating System: ≥Windows 10
- Remote Desktop Protocol Version: RDP 10
What I've Tried:
schtasks
psexec
- Starting a new command prompt window within the batch file
Request for Assistance:
I am seeking guidance from the community on how to overcome this challenge. If anyone has experience with making command prompts from Session 0 visible and interactive within an RDP environment, your insights would be greatly appreciated.
